Case Study – Cruz vs. Wilson
Client: Strong Garner Bauer (plaintiff)
Midwest trial services helped create a night-time 3D accident reconstruction animation of a fatal automobile accident on highway 44. By working with Accident Reconstruction expert Bruno Schmidt and attorney Jeff Bauer of Strong Garner Bauer, MTS animators were able to re-create the accident from the defendant’s point of view. The animation help plaintiff’s argue the accident could have easily been avoided and that the defendant had ample time to see the plaintiff’s vehicle and avoid the collision. The animation helped the jurors visualize the accident and in essence put them behind the wheel of defendant’s vehicle.

Midwest Trial Services designs and presents winning demonstratives for recent patent case.
This article details a recent patent case where MTS worked with Senniger Powers to create and presented various 3D animations, static graphics, and exhibit presentations in St. Louis Federal Court.

Deborah C. Weaver
Deborah C. Weaver is President and owner of both Midwest Trial and Midwest Litigation Services. She
believes that the client comes first, anytime, anywhere. Debbie and her staff are ready to go 24-7 to assist
in any problem or question one of their clients may have.
Not only is Debbie and her staff ready to help clients at all times, but they also understand that the information

Mike Toth
Mike Toth
Mike Toth has been managing the Trial Services division over the past four years.
Before joining Midwest Trial Services, Mike ran the litigation imaging department at a St. Louis document services company which helped segue into his duties as a trial consultant. His former employment gave him the backend experience needed for preparing clients and material for electronic presentation at trial. His Microsoft certification in networking also gave him the experience needed for both software and hardware applications used in Litigation Services. Mike has personally consulted in over 200 trials with an extremely high success rate.
Keith Montgomery
Keith Montgomery
Keith graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 1991 with a
B.S. in Mass Communications, focusing on Advertising, Marketing, and
especially graphic art. He joined Midwest Litigation Services in September
2000, working in the video department and as a videographer. Eventually he
became more involved with the trial services aspect and currently floats
between being a trial services consultant, working in the video department,
and assisting anywhere else he is needed. Married in September 1997,
he and his wife have two children; his daughter is 10 years old
and his son is 9 years old. He and his wife recently became certified
in scuba diving and hope to utilize and hone these skills
on their vacations.

Stephanie Morris
Stephanie Morris
Stephanie has been assisting the Midwest video department since September
2009. She graduated from Hickey College with a Computer Specialist Diploma and is
currently continuing her education pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Network
Administration. As part of the Midwest Team, she digitizes video to DVD or VHS
format and Synchronizes video with DepoView. She is a mother of two and enjoys
playing with her children as well as cooking for her family and friends. She also enjoys
outdoor activities such as camping.
Matthew Watson
Matthew Watson
My name is Matt and I have been with Midwest now for almost a year and a half. I work in both the video and trial departments. Many of my duties include video editing, audio editing, syncing using DepoView software, scanning trial exhibits and preparing documents to be used in trial. Recently I have been more involved in the consulting side of thing and help clients in the courtroom with anything they need. I graduated from Hickey College in December 2008 with and associates degree in computer networking. I am currently studying for several certifications in computer maintenance and network management. I enjoy playing golf and enjoy many outdoor activities.
